Alliance Shutters manufactures Interior Shutters from American Yellow Poplar, Basswood and Red Alder.
California shutters use the narrower 2 1/2" louvers, instead of 3 1/2" louvers. This requires less depth in the window jamb and lets less light into the house, offering more privacy.
Our California shutters are solid wood shutters, hand made and hand finished with the same craftsmanship and attention as fine furniture.
Every component is custom designed for optimal appearance, function and fit. Self-tensioning louvers require no unsightly tension adjusting screws or holes.
All shutters are sanded three times and have two coats of primer, lacquer and seal coat for that furniture look.
